Key Information Available on SLD Website, Searchable by SPIN
Message Posted August 11, 2000
Have you ever wondered if the SLD has sent your 486 approval letter to your service provider?
Or have you ever wanted to know when USAC mailed the BEAR approval letter to your provider?
OR (if you're a service provider) have you ever wondered what the status was of your annual SPIN certification?
Well, now there is a feature on the SLD web site for both service providers and applicants entitled, "Service Provider Information by SPIN" available at: http://www.sl.universalservice.org/ServiceProvider/SPAC_Search.asp (also found under Vendor Area).
This new search function provides important information regarding the "post-commitment" phase of the funding process. By entering a SPIN number and the funding year for which you are seeking information, you will have access to the following information:
Status of the certification of your SPIN
Percentage of FRNs for which your company received a FCDL per Wave
Dates Form 486 Notification letters sent to your SPIN
Dates BEAR (Billed Entity Applicant Reimbursement) letters sent to your SPIN
Waves numbered R# denote Replacement Runs of Service Provider FCDL's. Reasons for replacement include, but are not limited to:
Corrections
Changes
Approved Appeals
Mergers and Acquisitions
We soon will be approaching the SLD to create a similar feature available soon for applicants by Entity Number.
